Dhaka: A mobile court in Dhaka on Wednesday jailed a female teacher for two years and a student for one month for providing solutions to leaked questions of the ongoing HSC examinations over mobile phone.

Jamal Uddin Mir, officer‐in‐charge of Mohammadpur Police Station, said a mobile court, led by magistrate Mohammad Tofazzal Hossain, arrested Sifat Jasmine Nur, a teacher of College of Alternative Development (CODA), and Mehdi Hasan, a student of Tejgaon College, in front of Lalmatia College centre around 9:30am while they were providing solutions to questions over mobile phone.

Later, the mobile court punished them by two years and one month’s imprisonment respectively.
