Dhaka: Detectives held five members of fake currency-making syndicate and five people carrying snake venom weighing around 12 pound from different parts in Dhaka on Monday night.

The Detective Branch (DB) also seized huge currency, currency making equipment and materials from the counterfeit note gang.

Details about the arrest will be briefed in a press conference at DB media centre in Dhaka at about 11:30am.
