Chittagong: A female readymade garment (RMG) worker was killed in a road accident at Pre-Port area under Chittagong Export Processing Zone (CPEZ) thana on Friday.

The deceased is Radha Das, 50, hailed from Kanchona union of Satkhania upazila of Chittagong.

Abdul Hamid, Nayek of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost, said Radha received serious injury when a city service bus knocked her in the area at about 11:00pm.

Locals brought her to the CMCH but the attending doctors declared her dead at about 12.30 am.

A case was filed in this connection.
