During the drive, they detained Akhtar Hossain, owner of Al Medina Dental Care, and Maulana GM Wahid, dentist of Dhaka Dental Care, on charge of giving treatment to the patients without valid licences, reports UNB.
During interrogation, Akhtar revealed that he was detained by a mobile court on 4 September 2014 and sentenced to one year’s simple imprisonment on the same charge.
He, however, again started the practice as a dentist soon after his release from jail on bail.
