Keraniganj: A Keraniganj mobile court arrested six HSC examinees and a cybercafe' owner in front of Joypara Degree College in Dohar upazila on charge of leaking a question paper minutes before the start of an examination on Wednesday morning.

The arrestees are cybercafe' owner Jubayer Ahmed, 27, and examinees Zahirul Islam, Tamanna Islam, Sumiya, Onima Sharif, Sumiya Akhter Shimu, and Rumi Akhter.

Dohar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Al-Amin said six examinees were taking out a print of the question paper of Business and Management (2nd part) from a social networking site minutes before the start of the examination.

At that time, the mobile court conducted a drive at the cafe and caught the seven students and the cafe owner red-handed.

Later, the mobile court fined each of the examinees Tk 1,000 and sentenced Jubayer to 15 days' jail and fined Tk 1,000.
