A truck driver and his assistant were killed and another was injured when a truck hit another stationary truck from behind at Shyampur in Dhaka on early Saturday.

Shyampur Police Station Officer-in-charge Abdur Razzak said the accident took place in front of ‘Sattar Petrol pump’ around 4:00am, leaving truck driver Jamsher, 35, dead on the spot and two assistant injured, reports UNB.

The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where Salam, 30, succumbed to his injuries around 6:00am.
