Police recovered the body of a young man from Dhaka city’s Hatirjheel Lake on Monday.
Sources at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) said locals spotted the floating body of Sabuj, 30, in Hatirjheel Lake in Tejgaon industrial area around 10am and informed police, reports UNB.
Later, sub-inspector (SI) of Tejgaon Industrial Police Station Sajedul Haque recovered the body and sent it to the DMCH morgue.
Police suspected that Sabuj drowned in the lake after falling there as locals alleged that he was a drug addict.
