A rickshaw-puller was electrocuted to death in Dhaka city’s Shahjahanpur on Monday.

Sub inspector Bachchu Miah, also in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp, said Parvez, 25, suffered injuries after he came in contact with a live electric wire at noon while he was bringing out the house furniture from Shahjahanpur Railway Colony in a bid to take those to a new house, reports UNB.

He was taken to the DMCH where doctors declared him dead, said the SI.
