Dhaka: Police recovered the beheaded body of a man in Tongabari area of Ashulia, on the outskirts of Dhaka, on Friday morning.

Officer‐in‐Charge of Ashulia Police Station Mohsinul Kadir said the identity of the diseased, aged about 30, could not be known immediately.

Local people found the body lying beside a road and informed police, he said.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for post‐mortem, he added.

A murder case was filed with Ashulia Police Station in this connection, the OC said.
