Saudi Arabia has provided 50 metric tons of dates to Bangladesh for distributing those among poor people during the upcoming Ramadan.

Disaster Management and Relief Secretary Shah Kamal received the dates from Abdul Aziz Al Mania, a representative of the Saudi government, at the meeting room of the ministry on Monday, reports UNB.

Dr Mahdi Dhafar, Saudi religious affairs official in Bangladesh and M Reaz Ahmed, director general of Department of Disaster Management, were among others, present.
