Dhaka: Police in separate drives arrested four fake members of the Detective Branch and four muggers from different parts of the capital city on Thursday night.

Montachirul Islam, deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), said police arrested the eight people from different places of Dhaka.

Police also recovered one fake pistol, one handcuff, a walkie talkie, one bomb and a private car from their possession.
