Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Thursday said it is ready to provide escort services for transferring funds from one location to another if individual person, banks or financial organizations seek assistance in this regard.

"Sales and buy, trade and commerce and financial transactions as well as transferring of funds will increase during the upcoming month of Ramadan and the Eid-ul-Fitr," said DMP Commissioner Md Asaduzzaman Mia.

Police escort may be provided if any individual, bank or financial organization seeks assistance for transferring the funds, the DMP Commissioner said, in a media release on Thursday evening. But vehicles have to be provided by the applicant individual or organizations in this regard.
