Magura: Two men were crushed under the wheels of a truck on the Magura-Jhenidah Highway at Sachani village in Sadar upazila on Sunday morning.

The deceased are Jakaria Hossain, who is 18 years old, and Aminur Rahman, believed to be 19, resident of the village.

The Magura police said the accident took place on the highway at about 8:00pm as the truck ran over the duo while they were going to Alamkhali Bazar, leaving Jakaria dead on the spot and Aminur critically injured.

The injured were rushed to Sadar Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Later police recovered the bodies.
