Dhaka: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested a man for allegedly impersonating the Director General (DG) of National Security Intelligence (NSI) from Banasree area in Dhaka on early Thursday.

The elite force, however, could not disclose any details of the arrestee.

RAB 3 officials said the arrestee identifying himself as DG of NSI has long been involved in many types of criminal activities.

Details in this regard will be revealed at a RAB press briefing later in the day.
