Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep shock at the barbaric attacks in London Bridge and Borough Market of the central London, which killed six innocent lives and wounded scores more.

‘I’m deeply shocked at the barbaric attacks…we strongly condemn such mindless act of cowardice. We stand in solidarity with the people of the UK,’ she wrote to her British counterpart Theresa May on Sunday.

The Prime Minister, on behalf of the government and people of Bangladesh, extended deepest condolences to the British Prime Minister and the people of the UK.

‘Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families at this difficult hour,’ said the Prime Minister.
