Dhaka: The main congregation of Eid‐ul‐Fitr, the largest religious festival of the Muslims, will be held at the National Eidgah on the High Court premises at 8:30am on the Eid day.

The venue of the main congregation will be shifted to Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 9:00am in case of inclement weather, said Religious Affairs Minister Motiur Rahman after attending an inter‐ministerial meeting at the ministry.

Adequate members of law enforcement agencies will remain deployed at the congregation venue to ensure security, he said.
