Dhaka: Three state‐run banks donated Tk two crore to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund on Monday.

Agrani Bank donated Tk one crore while Sonali Bank and Rupali Bank Tk 50 lakh each, PM’s deputy press secretary M Nazrul Islam said.

Agrani Bank chairman Zahid Bakht and managing director M Shamsul Islam handed over a cheque to the Prime Minister on behalf of their Bank.

Sonali Bank chairman Ashraful Moqbul and managing director Obaidullah Al Masud, Rupali Bank chairman Monzur Hossain and managing director Ataur Rahman Pradhan handed over cheques of their respective banks to the Prime Minister.
