Dhaka: Railways Minister Mazibul Hoque on Tuesday said that Rajshahi and Parbatipur‐bound eid special trains will run from 22 June while other five special trains from 23 June.

‘All necessary steps have been taken to ensure safety of the passengers,’ said the minister while talking to reporters at Kamalapur Railway Station after visiting advance ticket sale activities.

The minister also said that law enforcers are also proactive in the railway stations against the black marketing of tickets.

The number of counter has been increased so that the passengers can avail tickets easily, said Mazibul.

He further said that the sale of special train tickets also has started from Tuesday.

The Railways minister earlier briefed that seven pairs of special trains will run on various routes from 23 June to 25 June before Eid and from 28 June to 3 July after Eid.
