NTV chairman and managing director Mohammad Mosaddak Ali has been released on bail.

Currently, he is receiving medical checkup at the capital’s Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital, where he is reportedly in police protection.

Mosaddak Ali, who is also the president of the Association of Television Channel Owners (ATCO), was held by Detective Branch from in front of Khaleda Zia’s political office at Gulshan at about 8:00pm on 1 February.

Police had filed three cases against him over different violent incidents. Recently he got bail in all the cases.
