Faridpur: Three suspected robbers were beaten to death by an agitated crowd at Koijuri union of Sadar upazila in Faridpur on Wednesday night.
The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Faridpur additional police super Mohammad Kamruzzaman said local people of Badarpur chased a suspected group of robbers at about 11:45pm and beaten three of the robbery suspects.

They died after being taken to Faridpur Medical College Hospital, said the hospital supervisors.

Fahad Bin Wazed Fine, a local man, said recently several incidents of robbery have occurred in the Kaijuri area of Faridpur. The robbers looted goods and molested several women during the incidents. Local people tried to protect their village when a group of robbers attacked the village on Wednesday night.
