Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina landed Dhaka on Saturday after wrapping up her three-day bilateral official visit to Sweden at the invitation of her Swedish counterpart Stefan Lofven.

After making three-hour stopover in the British capital, the prime minister departed for home and reached Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 9:15am on Saturday, confirmed deputy press secretary of PM Ashraful Alam.

This was the first-ever bilateral official visit by any head of government or state of Bangladesh to Sweden.

During the visit, the Bangladesh premier held the official talks with Stefan Lofven at the Prime Minister's Office in Stockholm.

Before the talks, the two leaders had a tete-a-tete at the same venue.

Sheikh Hasina joined a lunch hosted in her honour by the Swedish premier.

The prime minister had an audience with Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf at the Audience Room of the Royal Palace. She visited Swedish Parliament and held a meeting with acting Speaker Tobias Billstrom.

Swedish Deputy Prime Minister Isabella Lovin and Minister for Justice and Migration Morgan Johansson called on the prime minister at the Foreign Office and at Grand Hotel respectively.

The prime minister joined a business dialogue of Bangladesh-Sweden Business and Investment Forum and attended a community reception.

CEO of H&M Karl-Johan Persson and President of Investor Jacob Wallenberg, Vice-President of Investor Marcus Wallenberg and CEO of ABB Sweden Johan Soderstrom called on the prime minister separately.
