Bogra:  Three people were killed and four others were injured as two trucks collided head-on at Shahjajanpur upazila in Bogra on Monday morning.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Fire service and civil defence senior station officer Bazlur Rahman said two trucks collided head-on in the Fotki bridge area of the upazila at about 10:45am and left three people dead on the spot.

The injured were taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in Bogra.

The fire fighters are conducting rescue operation in the spot.
