Cox’s Bazar: Police in a drive arrested a listed human trafficker from his house at Sonarpara in Ukhiya of the district early Friday.

The arrestee was Khairul Haque, a resident of the village.  

Tipped off, a team of police raided the house of Khairul at about 1:30 am and arrested him, said Tahirul Islam Khan, officer-in-charge of Ukhiya Police Station.

Khairul is accused in several cases filed for human trafficking, said the OC.
