Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members arrested 12 people, including five Myanmar nationals, along with 15 lakh pieces of Yaba tablets from the outer anchorage of Chittagong port.
Tipped off, a team of Rab-7 launched a drive on Friday evening and recovered the Yaba pills searching a trawler in the Bay, said commanding officer of the Rab-7 Col Mistas Uddin, reports UNB.
The team also arrested 12 people, including five Myanmar nationals, from the boat for their suspected involvement in drug trading.
