Comilla: Three people were killed and two others injured as a covered van hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Otiya area of Laksam upazila on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased could not be identified immediately, reports new agency UNB.

Police said that the accident took place when the covered van rammed the auto-rickshaw in the area, leaving three passengers of the auto-rickshaw dead on the spot and two others injured.
