The government has appointed Samina Naz as the new Ambassador of Bangladesh to Vietnam.  

Samina Naz, a career diplomat of 15th BCS (Foreign Affairs), joined Bangladesh Foreign Service in 1995, reports the UNB.  

Currently she is serving as the Deputy High Commissioner, Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Mumbai, India.  

In her diplomatic career, she served at the Bangladesh Embassy in the Netherlands, at the Bangladesh Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York and in Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi in different capacities, said the Foreign Ministry here on Sunday.            

She did her Masters in International Relations from the University of Dhaka.
