Five people suffered burn injuries as a fire broke out in a showroom of electronic goods at Chakbazar in the city on Sunday morning.  

The injured are — M Jakir Hossain, 20, Abul Kashem, 65, M Shamim, 25, M Masum, 37, Mamunur Rashid, 40, reports the UNB.  

The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 12 pm, said DMCH police camp in-charge Bachchu Miah.
