Probe body formed over M’singh stampede

Dhaka: Police headquarters formed a three-member probe committee to investigate the stampede incident that killed twenty five women while collecting Zakat clothes in Mymensingh on Friday.

The committee headed by Additional DIG Dhaka range Shafiqul Islam was asked to submit its report within five working days, police headquarters AIG (media) Nazrul Islam told UNB.

The other members of the committee are Commandant APBN Mostafa Kamal and ASP Afal Hossain of D & PS department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
