BNP now a sinking boat: Hanif
Kushtia: Awami League Joint-General Secretary Mahbub-Ul-Alam Hanif on Saturday said BNP has been isolated from the mass people and it is trying to sustain through spreading falsehood and imaginative story.
‘BNP is now a sinking boat . . . it is now facing severe crisis and split in the party, he told journalists while providing cash for destitute people and distributing laptop, multi-media projectors for some schools in his locality.
Hanif observed that the splits in the BNP centering the change of its leaderships would lay a very negative impact inside the party.
He categorically said the ruling Awami League has no intention to keep BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia out of the upcoming electoral process and BNP men knew it very well whether she (Khaleda Zia) was involved in the Zia Charitable Trust scam.
‘The honourable court will take the decision regarding this,’ he added.
President of Kushtia District Awami League Sadar Uddin Khan, General Secretary Ajgor Ali and Senior Vice-President Rabiul Islam, among others, accompanied Hanif.
