Meherpur: A man was allegedly killed by his wife at Old Madandanga village under Sadar upazila of Meherpur on Saturday night.

The deceased is Azizur Rahman, in his fortie, son of Fajlul Haque of the same area.

Family members said Salina Khatun, who is 38 years old, hit her husband with a bamboo stick over a family feud, leaving Azizur injured critically.

Azizur died on his way to Meherpur General Hospital.

The Sadar Police arrested Salina for interrogation.
