Dhaka: Five new Cabinet members, including three ministers and two state ministers, paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his portrait at Dhanmondi Road-32 in Dhaka on Wednesday.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan, Science and Technology Affairs Minister Yeafesh Osman, Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam BSc, State Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Tarana Halim and State Minister for Food Ministry Nuruzzaman Ahmed paid tributes to the Father of the Nation at about 11:00am.

Earlier on Tuesday evening, the three ministers and the two junior ministers were sworn in as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has gone for her first major cabinet-overhaul exercise inducting three new faces and elevating two junior ministers to full ministers.
