Savar: Fazlul Haque, who was arrested on charge of throwing his 25-day-old boy to death from the 6th floor of Enam Medical College Hospital here, has said he killed his son out of frustration.

Sub-inspector Asaduzzaman, also the investigation officer of a case filed in this regard, said Fazlul was suffering from frustration that the boy, Abdullah, might be handicapped as its mother is dumb.

Besides, he was upset about the hospital bill of nearly Tk 2 lakh for the treatment of the child.

Fazlul threw Abdullah from the 6th floor of the hospital out of this frustration. He was under treatment at the hospital for 19 days.

The body was recovered early Monday several hours after the child went missing from the cabin.
