Dhaka: The rainfall may decrease for the  next 72 hours and day temperature may fall by 1-3 degree Celsius while night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said a weather forecast report in Dhaka on Friday.

Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, Sylhet and Dhaka divisions and at many places over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions and moderately heavy falls at places elsewhere over the country, the forecast report added that valid for next twenty-four hours.

Country’s maximum temperature was recorded on Thursday at 37degree Celsius at Bogra and minimum temperature today was recorded by 2 degree Celsius Hatiya.

Highest rainfall for the last twenty four hours was recorded at 150mm at Rangamati followed by 128mm at Sitakunda, 106mm at Teknaf and 100mm at Chittagong.

Friday’s sunset in the capital will be at about 6:43pm and Saturday’s sunrise will be at 5:27am.
