Dhaka: Detectives in separate raids in Dhaka and Jessore arrested nine persons including three college teachers on charges of leaking the Higher Secondary and polytechnic examinations question papers.

Suman Ahmed, Abdur Rahman, Abdur Rahman alias Liton, SM Tanvir Alam alias Rizvi, Jony Rahman and Arafat Hossain were arrested from Jessore and they are the students of Jessore Polytechnic Institute and a private polytechnic institute in Jessore.

They were held in connection with leaking question papers of polytechnic institute using social media site, Facebook.

The Detective Branch also held Nazmul, Hasan and Kamrul, teachers of Golam Mostofa Model College at Demra, for their link to leakage of HSC exams question papers from Demra area in Dhaka.

Separate cases were filed against the arrestees with respective police stations.
