Case filed over death threats to Joy

Dhaka: A case was filed on Monday night over issuing death threats to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s eldest son and her ICT adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy.
Inspector Fazlur Rahman of the Detective Branch (South) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed the case with the Paltan police.
The Paltan police said Sajeeb Wazed Joy received death threats through different media at different times.
Police said Mohammad Ullah Al Mamun, vice-president of BNP’s cultural wing Jatiyatabadi Samajik Sangskritik Sangstha (JASAS) was named as an accused in the First Information Report (FIR) of the case.
