Dhaka: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia will sit in a meeting with the leaders of the 20-Party Alliance on Wednesday night ahead of her London visit.

‘The meeting of the 20-party alliance will be held at BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office at 8:00pm,’ said Sayrul Kabir Khan, BNP chairperson’s media wing member.

This will be the first meeting of the BNP-led combine after it started the anti-government movement on 6 January this year with the countrywide blockade.

The 20-party meeting is going to be held before Khaleda’s visit to London to receive medical treatment, where her eldest son and BNP senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman has been staying for seven years.

The BNP chairperson is likely to go to London within a couple of days.
