Case filed over Badda gun attack
Dhaka: A case was filed against 10 people in connection with Badda gun attack which killed three people including a Swechhasebak League leader.
Father of Mahbubur Rahman Gama, a Swecchasebak League leader, filed the case with Badda police on Saturday night.
Gama was died on Friday morning while undergoing treatment at United Hospital in Gulshan after receiving bullet during the attack.
Earlier, miscreants shot Dhaka ward 6 Awami League joint secretary Shamsu Molla, and manager of a local private hospital Firoz Ahmed Manik, at Adarshanagar water pamp area in Badda on 13 August night.
Badda Swechhasebak League president Abdus Salam and Swechhasebak League Dhaka North leader Gama were injured during the firing.
Later, Salam was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, and Gama was sent to United Hospital at Gulshan.
The local people said a group of miscreants opened fire on the four while they were they were gossiping near the Water Tank at Adarsha Nagar at about 9:15pm, leaving Manik dead on the spot and three others injured.
Shamsu Molla died on his way to hospital. The reason behind the gun attack could not be known.
