Dhaka: The 7th session of the 10th parliament will begin on 1 September at 5:00pm.

President Abdul Hamid summoned the session of the Jatiya Sangsad on Sunday exercising the power bestowed upon him as per Article 72(1) of the Constitution, said a handout on Sunday.

The sixth session of the Jatiya Sangsad ended on 8 July passing the national budget for the 2015-16 financial year.

The 10th parliament went into its maiden session on 29 January 2014.
