Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan addresses a human chain programme in capital

Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan on Saturday said that BNP will be forced to withdraw its hartal and blockade programme by besieging the party chairperson Khaleda Zia’s political office.

The minister made the statement at a human chain programme in capital organised by Worker-Employer Professionals Co-ordination Council protesting ongoing violence and sabotage.

Shajahan said ‘the Gulshan office of Khaleda will be besieged on Monday. All of you are invited there. We want to force Khaleda to withdraw blockade and hartal.’

Targeting Khaleda, Shahajahan said ‘the people will protest against BNP leaders and activists everywhere if you (Khaleda) don’t withdraw the blockade.’

The minister said ‘Jamaat is the part of the heart of BNP, the apple of BNP’s eyes. BNP is doing the same what Jamaat did in 1971. There is no difference between the characters of Khaleda and Jamaat.’

Shipping minister said Sheikh Hasina is in the heart of people. So she has the strength to prevent crimes along with the people of Bangladesh.
