Inspector General of Police AKM Shahidul Haq on Saturday claimed that foods are being supplied to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office regularly.

Shahidul said ‘foods are being supplied regularly as it was being done on other days. She (Khaleda) is taking foods regularly and she is well.’

IGP made the statement in a programme of awarding some police members at the police headquarters on Saturday.

Responding to an allegation that police is doing business through arrest of people in the name of current political unrest, Shahidul said ‘We are scrutinizing the issue. There are no specific allegations on the issue. We will take steps if we get any proof.’
