32 bombs, firearms recovered in Habiganj

Habiganj: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh have recovered 17 petrol bombs, 15 crude bombs and three firearms from Habiganj’s Dharmapur village under Madhabpur upazila on Friday.
Tipped off, a team of BGB conducted a raid and recovered the bombs and firearms from the rooftop of an abandoned building at about 8:00am, said BGB-55 Battalion Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Sazzad Hossain.
The bombs and firearms had been kept there to carry out sabotage, he added.
None was arrested in this connection.
