RAB men hurt in crude bomb blast

Dhaka: Two members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have been injured after miscreants blasted crude bombs targeting them in Ramchandrapur Haat area of Chapainawabganj, reports UNB.
RAB members went to the place to serve an arrest warrant for one Azizur Haque Arzu on Thursday afternoon, said Chapainawabganj RAB-5 assistant director Ashikur Rahman.
It was claimed by the elite force that associates of Arzu blasted crude bombs targeting them at 6:00pm, leaving sub-inspector Emran Ali and Habildar Ganesh Chandra critically injured.
The injured were taken to Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital.
Later Emran Ali was shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital as his condition worsened.
