Mymensingh: Two female madrasa students were killed as a truck ran over them on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Noudha area of Trishal upazila on Friday.

The deceased are two teenagers Nadia and Ripa, students of Noudha Mohila Madrasa.

Trishal police officer-in-charge Moniruzzaman said, the truck knocked down Nadia and Ripa on the highway in the morning while they were going for coaching, leaving them critically injured.

Later, they died on way to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

Police seized the truck.
