Zia involved in Bangabandhu killing: Amu
Dhaka: Awami League advisory council member and industries minister Amir Hossain Amu today said that the BNP founder Ziaur Rahman was involved in the killing of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Speaking at a discussion as the chief guest, he said that Zia not only involved in the killing of Bangabandhu but also he had worked as the spokesperson of defeated forces of War of Liberation and also in local and international conspiracies.
Following that line, Amu said, BNP leader Begum Khaleda Zia celebrated her fake birth day by cutting cake during the National Mourning Day.
Dhaka City North Chhatra League organized the discussion marking the National Mourning Day at Krishibid Institution Auditorium at city’s Farm Gate with president of the unit Syed Mizanur Rahman in the chair.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Kamal addressed as the main speaker, while Awami League organizing secretary agriculturist AFM Bahauddin Nasim, MP, and AL central committee member AKM Anamul Haq Shamim also spoke on the occasion as special guests.
Among others, former BCL leader Mahfuzul Haidar Chowdhury Rotan, Mazhar Anam, Tasbirul Haq Anu, BCL central executive president Saifur Rahman Shohag and general secretary SM Zakir Hossain also addressed in the discussion.
