Dhaka: A man was killed as a wall of a poultry shop collapsed on him in front of his residence on the Chiriakhana Road in capital’s Mirpur area on Sunday morning.

The deceased is Belal Hossain, a resident of the area.

The Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) authorities said a portion of the wall of the poultry shop in the area collapsed on Belal at about 9:30am while he was standing beside, leaving him critically injured.

He was taken to DMCH where doctors declared him dead.
