Dhaka: Home minister Asaduzzaman Khan asked the law enforcers to take action against extorting cattle traders as Eid-ul Azha is drawing near.

The minister in a meeting on Sunday also ordered authorities concern to ensure traffic jam-free highways, prevent leather trafficking, and controlling overloaded ferry movement during the Eid.

Representatives of Home Ministry and senior officials of law enforcers were present in the meeting.
