Dhaka: President Abdul Hamid on Monday morning returned home from London wrapping up his eight-day visit for treatment.

A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at about 10:20am.

Foreign Miniter A H Mahmood Ali, Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, dean of diplomatic corps and other high civil and military officials welcomed the President at the airport.

Abdul Hamid went to the United Kingdom on 23 August.
