Dhaka: Bright sunshine is expected to be between 3.25 to 4.25 hours per day during this week (01 September-07 September) where country’s average bright sunshine was 3.46 hours per day during last week.

Country’s average free water loss during the next week is expected to be between 2.75mm to 3.75mm per day while average free water loss during the previous week was 2.97mm per day.

The axis of monsoon trough runs through Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and thence northeastwards to Assam across central part of Bangladesh.

One of it’s associated through to Northwest Bay.

Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and strong elsewhere over North Bay.

Light (04-10mm) to moderate (10-22mm) rain/thunder shower with temporary gusty wind may occur at many places over Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet and Rangpur divisions and few places over Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions.

There are chances of moderate (10-22mm) to moderately heavy (22-44mm) falls at places over Chittagong, Sylhet and Rangpur divisions during this period.

Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged all over the country during this period.
