Dhaka: Italian deputy foreign minister Benedetto Della Vedova arrives in Dhaka on Wednesday on a three-day visit to discuss bilateral issues, said a foreign ministry official on Monday. 

A bilateral meeting between Vedova and state minister for foreign affairs M Shahriar Alam will be held at the foreign ministry on Thursday.

Trade, investment and other issues will be discussed at the meeting, said the official adding that the government is considering Italy as an important partner.
