Dhaka: Social Welfare Minister Syed Mohsin Ali has been admitted to BIRDEM hospital as he was suffering from Pneumonia.

The minister has been kept in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The ministry’s information officer Maidul Islam Prodhan said Syed Mohsin Ali was admitted to the hospital early on Thursday.

Later, he was shifted to ICU as his physical condition deteriorated.

Maidul Islam said minister’s condition has improved now. He may be shifted to cabin from ICU in the afternoon, said the information officer.
